Born in 1980 in Ankara, Turkey, I embarked on a creative journey that intertwines art and technology. From early explorations in traditional drawing, inspired by comics, to delving into BASIC programming on a Commodore64, my dual passions have always been evident.
In 1999, I began studying Economics at Hacettepe University, but my artistic calling led me to pivot towards sculpture. I graduated with top honors from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 2008, deeply immersed in the synergy of human-machine interaction, algorithms, and image-processing technologies, particularly in performance arts. This fascination was the cornerstone of my master’s thesis.
My career has been a rich tapestry of roles: from a Research Assistant at Hacettepe University, delving into academic and individual art projects, to participating in national and international symposia, workshops, and festivals as an instructor. My work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions, reflecting my evolving artistic narrative.
Since 2010, I have thrived as a software architect, contributing to start-ups in Turkey and globally. My current creative frontiers include game development, open-source technologies, creative coding, and the cutting-edge realms of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and augmented reality. In these domains, I continue to blend the worlds of art and technology, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
